Jori & Kemal’s Joyful Wedding Day at Wellshire Event Center

A Denver wedding filled with connection, family, and celebration

Jori and Kemal were married yesterday at Wellshire Event Center, and it was such a joyful day to be part of. I had the chance to photograph their engagement session before the wedding, so it was especially meaningful to see them surrounded by the people who love them most. They are both incredibly kind, thoughtful people, and that same warmth was reflected throughout the entire day. Their families were so appreciative, welcoming, and genuinely excited to celebrate alongside them.

Their story began at a coffee shop called Fika, which fittingly means “friendship.” From their first cold brews together, they became best friends, and that foundation was easy to see throughout the wedding day. One of my favorite parts of their story is Kemal’s proposal during a trip to Crete. After a day of navigating unfamiliar roads, language barriers, and all the little challenges that come with exploring somewhere new, they realized what mattered most was being together. That sense of partnership was present all day long. From emotional moments with family to an energetic reception that even included a belly dancer, the celebration was full of laughter, connection, and people who were truly happy to be a part of.
