Modern Fairytale: Carlie and Benjamin’s Wedding Day at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and Wellshire

Carlie and Benjamin’s wedding was such a special day to celebrate. Their love story is truly unique. They met on TikTok in 2020. Carlie commented on a viral post of Ben’s, and that simple comment turned into a connection. Ben saw she was from Colorado, and he’d always wanted to move here. After chatting and FaceTiming for over a year, Ben made the big move to Colorado in 2021 to be with Carlie.

Fast forward to June 2023, they were on a family trip in Hawaii. During dinner, everyone was enjoying ice cream when the waitress “forgot” Carlie’s. When it finally came out, it had an orchid inside—and inside the orchid was her grandma’s ring, which had passed away. That beautiful moment marked the proposal, and of course, Carlie said yes!

Their wedding at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and the celebration at Wellshire Event Center in Denver was Filled with love, laughter, and happy tears. It was so warming to see two people whose journey started in such a unique way now starting their lifelong adventure together. Wishing Carlie and Ben all the happiness in the world!
