I recently had the opportunity to photograph a young man named Andrew for his senior portraits. My friend Willie asked me to capture these special moments for his son, and we chose to do the session on their family ranch located west of Parker, Colorado. The ranch was absolutely stunning, with endless breathtaking views that reminded me of back home.
Walking the land before the session, enjoying the views and smells, It brought me back to the simplicity of being young with no worries. That is the power of memories for me. I am so glad I get to bring the vision to family’s to go back to any time they want with my gift of the lens.
Andrew was such a pleasure to work with – he was cool, intelligent, and exuded confidence. He made the entire photo shoot effortless and enjoyable. I can’t wait to see what he will accomplish in the future as he moves forward. The stars are the limit!
