This is the heartwarming story of Janet and Kevin, a couple who found love in unlikely circumstances. They met while Blues dancing in Old Town Fort Collins in January of 2020 and instantly felt a strong connection. A week later, they started dating.

Their journey took an unexpected turn in March of 2020 when the Covid lockdown was introduced. Janet and Kevin had to make a difficult decision – whether to spend the lockdown separately or together. They chose to be together and have been inseparable ever since.

Janet and Kevin complement each other perfectly. Kevin finds peace and beauty in living in the present moment, while Janet has a keen eye for the past and future, focusing on where they came from and where they are headed. Their differences bring balance to their relationship, and they strengthen each other in ways that no one else can.

For me, photographing their wedding was a last-minute opportunity. Leah and Sean, a beautiful couple I had worked with a few years ago, reached out to me and asked if I was available for a last-minute October wedding in Fort Collins, Colorado at the Edward House. Luckily, I was available, and I set up a zoom call with Janet and Kevin. We immediately connected and knew we were the right fit for each other. It was a relief for them to find a photographer after their original one fell through, and I was very grateful we could help with that.

As a Denver-based photographer specializing in weddings, portraits, senior photography, and family photography, I am thrilled to have been a part of Janet and Kevin’s special day. Being able to capture their love and create lasting memories for them was truly a privilege. I am based out of Littleton, Colorado, and I am grateful for the opportunity to document love stories like theirs.

Photographing weddings is always special to me, but witnessing and capturing the love between Janet and Kevin was truly unforgettable. Their story reminds us that love can bloom in unexpected places and times, and it is a beautiful reminder of the power of connection and commitment.
