This past weekend, I had an awesome time capturing Sam’s senior portrait session in the vibrant Rino Art District of Denver, CO. Sam is an up-and-coming jazz drummer who’s been drumming since the third grade, and it was clear from the start that he wanted his photos to reflect his urban vibe and passion for music. The colorful murals and gritty backdrops of Rino were the perfect setting for a unique senior shoot, allowing us to play around with some cool, edgy compositions. Incorporating his drums into the session was a must—something about the way they framed him really brought out his musical spirit and passion!
