New Years Eve Wedding | Denver, Colorado
Being a Denver wedding photographer, I couldn’t have ask for better fun-loving couple like Colleen and Jonathan to work with for my last wedding of the year. And to have the backdrop of The Maven Hotel in downtown Denver, Colorado was all an added bonus. A week prior, the weather looked to be just under 50 degrees with some sun rays on the last day of the year. Once the NYE day came, Colorado did what it does best and tied the 1886 record for most snow fall ever recorded on new years eve. 4.5 inches came in sideways consistently in downtown Denver through to the new year. You think that would alter a few plans.. but Nope. Colleen and Jonathan stayed on their dream course. They still had the ceremony outdoors at the Dairy Block, and made a pitstop for photos in front of Denver Union Station and Washington Park (where they had their first date) with wet, thick snow dropping down. The rest of the evening was filled with celebrations and joy up until the final second of the New Year.
