Lucy and Joe. These two expose so much love with a “Punk your face” and “Goober Slap” attitude. That connection of energy flows between them with a smooth frequency. I know that sound a little out of the ordinary, but if you know Lucy and Joe, you understand what I am saying. I got the opportunity to meet and work with Lucy and Joe on their engagement session in Lakewood, Colorado. They let me know that this usually isn’t their jam to get photos like this, but once we got going they flowed in front of the lens with ease. Again, just the connection, love, and kindness they displayed was great to be around.

Lucy and Joe chose the Grant Humphreys Mansion in Denver, Colorado for their venue. As a Colorado wedding photographer, the mountain views are the first thing that comes into mind for epic locations to capture a wedding. But if you mention a historical mansion to this photographer, and I get excited. I’ve shot at the Grant Humphreys Mansion before and love the intimate size, superb staff, and of course the age and wisdom that it brings.
