A Badass Celebration at the Wellshire Event Center

I had the honor of witnessing Katie and Shane’s killer wedding at the Wellshire Event Center in Denver, Colorado. Their journey together is a strong testament to how love can flourish in the most unexpected ways. It all started with a simple introduction; Shane was known to Katie as “The Shane,” thanks to her dad, Darrell, who jokingly suggested they should date. Fast forward to a fateful beer between the two, and the rest became history, including a spooky first date adventure in a haunted canyon that Shane passed with flying colors!

As they built their life together, Katie and Shane embarked on countless adventures that defined their relationship. Shane, a passionate motorcyclist, introduced Katie to riding, and soon she was cruising alongside him, embracing the thrill of the road. They took the exciting plunge into homeownership, creating a beautiful space filled with love, laughter, and their four-legged family members. Shane enjoys mowing the yard, while Katie tends to her garden and spends time in her beloved “she-shed.” Despite the playful rivalry between Katie’s cats and Shane’s husky, Kiah, they all found a way to coexist and became the best of friends.

The warmth and joy radiated throughout the Wellshire Event Center, where Katie and Shane celebrated their love with style and badass-ness. Their journey together so far is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see what adventures await this awesome frickin couple!
