Anne and Trenton

Wedding at Chautauqua Park and The Eddy in Colorado. Somehow it Still Felt Like Just Another Day Together.

As a Denver wedding photographer, when a ceremony makes me cry, that is some powerful, loving energy. Trenton and Anne’s ceremony at Chautauqua Park in Boulder was small, intimate, and surrounded by family. There was so much joy and emotion in such a quiet setting.

I had already gotten to work with them for their engagement session. You really need to read their full story here: Trenton and Anne’s Engagement Session. One thing I loved was how they were exactly the same after saying “I do” as they were during that engagement session. Quirky, laughing, relaxed, messing with each other, and just fully enjoying the moment. They had literally just gotten married, and somehow it still felt like another normal day together in the best possible way.

After their portrait session at Chautauqua Park, we headed to Golden for dinner and the reception at The Eddy, where more friends and family were waiting for them. The whole day had this really easy flow to it. Nothing felt overdone. Just two people who clearly enjoy being around each other, surrounded by the people they love.

That is what I liked most about it. The day did not need to prove anything. It just felt like them.
