Denver Wedding That That Put Loving Tears in My Eyes, and Had Susan Doing a Lot of Looking Up

This one got me. I caught myself sobbing trying to focus through my camera’s viewfinder often that day. I really love that. As a Denver wedding photographer, I am always amazed. Powerful love lives in a wedding day, and Susan and Igor’s wedding at the Wellshire Event Center hit me with a left hook. That power is so unpredictable and I really love that.

I had the honor of capturing their engagement session prior, and even then you could tell how easy and fun they were together. Their story started as friends, spending time together in group settings for some time. Igor finally asked Susan out to dinner. That dinner turned into hours of talking, then more dates, and eventually a relationship that kept growing from there.

Four years later, Igor planned a night out with dinner and a comedy show, then proposed afterward in the car. She laughed first because it was in the car and joked that she might reconsider because he didn’t get down on one knee. That part feels very fitting with their constant laughing and little punchy humor back and forth.

Their wedding was a mixed bag of emotions. Fun, laughs, hugs, strong tears and like I said before, a loving energy that you can’t avoid. Weddings like Susan and Igor’s remind me just how much love there is in this world and how evident it is that love always outweighs the bad. Thanks for that reminder.
